“A Robotics-based Introduction to Computer Science”

Ramin Zabih

About

CS100R will be a fast-paced introduction to computer science using camera-controlled robots. We will emphasize basic programming skills and introduce a wide variety of fundamental algorithms. The entire course will be centered around camera-controlled robots. The robots will be a combination of Sony Aibos and custom-built robotics platforms. There will be extensive laboratory assignments, and lots of opportunities for students to get their hands dirty. CS100R will look very different from a traditional intro to programming course.
