“ePortfolio Pilot, Report, and Service”

About

Academic Technologies conducted an ePortfolio pilot from 2009 - 2010. The two phases of the pilot explored several eportfolio technologies, and piloted Sakai’s OSP and Chalk & Wire tools with Cornell faculty. The results of the pilot indicated that while “Sakai Open Source portfolio (OSP)’ and ‘Chalk and Wire,’ have beneficial features, neither of these ePortfolio solutions emerged as best able to support teaching, learning and assessment at Cornell at this time. after more review of tools, a service was launched with the Mahara ePortfolio tool.
